Accumulation in pigment

In this four-part series, pure pigment is applied directly onto the paper without any binder, forming multiple raised layers. These layers consist of countless pigment particles that, depending on the light, cast subtle shadows and transform their white into a variety of nuanced tones. The organic forms depicted invite multiple perspectives: depending on the light, the pigment objects appear in varying shades of white — sometimes emerging plastically from the paper, at other times blending seamlessly into its surface. There is no single vantage point from which the work can be seen 'correctly.' 'Accumulation in Pigment' challenges the viewer’s physical position, emphasizing that there is no objective way to perceive what is depicted.
