Structure 05

This five-part series explores the tension between actual and apparent spatiality on paper. Countless individual points condense into clusters that form a surface, complemented by a blind-embossed geometric shape (circle, triangle, or rectangle). While the points fall apart in some areas and concentrate in others, they align in strict geometric order, oscillating between individuality and collectivity. The clusters remain within the surface, whereas the blind embossings, as manual interventions in the paper, open up a tangible sense of spatiality.
